Monster Wrestlers in my pocket

A series of some 42 different figures made in the main by Matchbox in the UK. However nine of them were made by Vivid Imaginations and made available as cereal premiums with Kellogg's Frosties in 1995. Similar in size to a 54mm figure with a fairly crude factory paint application. Each figure has its own code and name. I really like the sculpts and so painted a few up.

This is Gizzard the Lizard, Deadly Night Nurse and Steel Slammer  in their original form.

  1. Ive never seen any painted MIMP before and wow these are great! Well done and I hope you plan on doing some more. What paints do you use for these? These guys are made of hard rubber and i imagine the paint will crack if the figures are played with in the usual fashion?

  2. Thanks for your comments. This range of figures are really nice, whilst the factory paint apps are crude the detailing in the sculpts is excellent.I always use acylic paint with the aim of creating a collectable figure primarily for display purposes only.
