Characters from Dickens

Spotted these at a Model fair, something a bit different. Metal 54mm figures made by Tommy Atkins.
David Leans 1948 film Oliver Twist one of my favorite films.

Rogers Rangers

Rogers' Rangers was initially a provincial company from the colony of New Hampshire, attached to the British Army during the French and Indian War in the United States.(circa 1755). The unit was quickly adopted into the British army as an independent ranger company. It was trained by Major Robert Rogers as a rapidly deployed Light Infantry force tasked mainly with reconnaissance as well as conducting special operations against distant targets. These figures are 54mm made by Barzso in the USA.

Monster in My Pocket

Monster in My Pocket (MIMP) was a series of rubber and plastic mini figures approx an inch and a half high released by Matchbox in1989. Initially based on monsters from mythology of various cultures, then expanding to other creatures such as dinosaurs, aliens and monster wrestlers.
Produced in solid single colours, initially when viewed the detail on them looks unimpressive, however once primed in matt black prior to painting, I found the detail then becomes more evident.

Slimey Little Ugly Guys (SLUG's)

These are just superb figures with nice details in the sculpts. Shame I never got any of the first wave, anyone have any for sale please contact me.

The Walking Dead

Made by Mc Farlane toys,they are a range of TWD building sets which come in segments and have a basic factory paint applied. They have a strange moulded loop on each foot to fit into a clear plastic stand, of which most fail to do. They are approx 1/35th scale and the detail on the sculpts is very good.

I have glued the sections together,cut off the foot loops and filled where required ( They are not always a good fit) and applied proper bases. Finally I have given them a new paint job. 

Battle Beasts

Custom paint job on these guys called Battle Beasts. A line of  2" tall action figure toys, in the form of an anthropomorphised animals with body armor and a unique weapon. Several figures have their left hand replaced by a weapon of some kind. Battle Beasts were created and largely produced by Takara and distributed by Takara in Japan (under the name BeastFormers) and by Hasbro outside Japan, beginning in 1987.
