Garbage Pail kids - Minikins

Garbage Pail Kids is a series of trading cards/stickers produced by the Topps Company in the USA. They were designed to parody the Cabbage Patch Kids dolls, which were immensely popular in the mid eighties. Due to the popularity of the cards, in 2013 Topps started to produce little minifigures, called Minikins based on the cards and are sold in blind bags of x2 and x4 figures. They are small at about an inch high, and a mixture of plain coloured and factory painted figures are available. So far two series have been produced each with x26 characters in the set. The factory paint jobs are very basic and just cried out for a custom job by yours truly !

"Alien" Muscle figures - John Hurt

I had almost finished painting the last figure in this set of "Alien" Muscles by Super 7, when I heard the sad news that Sir John Hurt had passed away.
As a tribute to this fine actor I attach pictures of the three variants of his character "Kane" from the set, ...... Spacesuit, Face Hugger and Chestburster. I will post pics of the rest shortly.
